  • When is my baby due?

    The due date is calculated based on the first day of your last menstrual period and is usually 40 weeks from that date.

  • The amount of weight you should gain during pregnancy depends on your pre-pregnancy weight. Women who are underweight should gain more weight than women who are overweight or obese. On average, women should gain between 25 and 35 pounds during pregnancy.

  • A healthy diet during pregnancy should include a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and low-fat dairy products. It's also important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

  • In most cases, it's safe to continue working, exercising, and having sex during pregnancy. However, you should talk to your doctor about any concerns you may have

  • Some common symptoms of pregnancy include morning sickness, fatigue, and breast tenderness. Complications can include gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and preterm labor. It's important to attend all prenatal appointments and talk to your doctor if you experience any unusual symptoms.

  • You should call your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms: vaginal bleeding, severe abdominal pain, contractions that occur every 5 to 10 minutes, decreased fetal movement, or signs of preterm labor.

  • While there is no evidence that hair dye is harmful to a developing fetus, some women choose to avoid it during pregnancy. If you do choose to dye your hair, it's best to wait until after the first trimester.
